We don’t just sell books. We are also a community space offering several services. See below for some examples
- Take Home Naloxone kits – We provide free kits for reversing with injectable medication for reversing an opiod overdose.
- Harm reduction supplies – We have a selection of supplies for safer sex and drug use. This often includes fentanyl testing strips. You can call us to inquire about what we have on hand.
- Free store – We have a set of shelves with curated items for anyone to take for free. These often include clothing and shoes.
- Books to Prisoners – We are a drop off point for the Books To Prisoners program.
- Disco Distro Drop off – We are a drop off point for donations to Distro Disco.
- Lending Library – We have a selection of books which you are welcome to borrow and return later. No late fees!
- DVD Rentals – If you buy a Spartacus Membership ($15/year), you can rent DVDs from our extensive collection.
- Free coffee and tea – There are supplies for you to make your own coffee and tea at the store.
- Free internet, computer access, and printer – We have a public use computer and an open WIFI network. We can probably also help you print documents (within reason).
