Up to 12 people can fit in comfortably and we have a projector and sound system. We aim to be a free, low-barrier gathering space for community members in a city where space to exist is increasingly scarce. We don’t charge money but gratefully accept donations

We have compiled a list of accessibility information about Spartacus for event planners and visitors. Please note that masks are required for all people in the store. We require that attendees of events inside our store to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. For information on how to get vaccinated see

Spartacus has hosted various public and private events in the past – poetry readings, film screenings, book discussions, stickers trading, book launches, project presentations, squeezebox circle meetings, and more. See our social media to get a sneak peek.
